Our tutors are full-time professional photographers and you will be assigned your very own tutor to provide guidance, answer your questions and provide constructive feedback on the assignments. Communication with your tutor is via email.


Entry Requirements

This is an entry level course so you don't require any prior photographic knowledge. Just an enthusiastic interest in photography is all you require plus any type of digital camera.


What Will I Learn?

The objective of the course is to make you visually aware of what makes good photography work and to introduce you to basic camera handling skills that will result in you producing more consistent quality images. We will explore:

• Composition

• Avoiding Camera Shake

• Correct Focus

• Choice of Lens

• Zooming & Moving



Successful completion of this course will put you in a strong position to progress to any of our Level 2 Distance Learning courses; for example, Moving Away From Auto Mode.
